Frankly, I'm guessing you were one of those cats who wore the prosthetic boob thingys filled with your wife's breast milk so you could be closer to your kid. If that's the case I'm sure you are an effing vegan so this ain't the place for you.

I admit it could have been handled better, but I also think the media hysteria in response was one of the most comically overblown episodes since...I dunno, Obama's bowling score?
But here's what I don't get: Omar claims he made the decision Monday morning, and it had to be done instantly. But they had just won 3 out of 4 and looked like they were turning things around.
Before that they looked horrible losing 2 of 3 to the D-backs and were swept in 4 games by the pathetic Padres before that. I don't know why he wasn't fired before the Ranger series.
All that said, I'm really impressed with Jerry Manuel so far. Meaning his press conference. Maybe because it followed one of the worst press conferences I've ever seen (Minaya's).
I dunno, these Mets suck. They suck worse than your Nats when adjusted for (salary) inflation.
Can't say I'm sorry that the Mets suck. But thanks for the response.
